Smith is a talented performer who primarily plays right back but can also play left back and anywhere in the middle of the field.

He worked his way up through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and played for the first team twice, once in the Premier League.

Smith made 21 appearances across all competitions after deciding to extend his contract with the Cherries by an extra two years in July 2021, assisting the team’s immediate promotion to the Premier League.

Smith made his 300th appearance for the team in April 2022 when they beat Coventry City 3-0.

He played 11 times for England’s under-21 team and was capped at every age group from under-16 to under-21.
