On July 26, 2018, Tchouaméni’s debut game with the first team was a 1-0 win away to FK Ventspils of Latvia in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. He appeared in the game for 89 minutes that day.

Then, on August 9, he scored his first professional goal. It was the final goal in Bordeaux’s 3-1 Europa League victory over Mariupol.
