About
Crystal Palace made Ben Chilwell’s move permanent on 1 September 2026, free after his Chelsea contract expired and a season on loan at Strasbourg. The left-back knows Selhurst Park already: he won the FA Cup there on loan in 2024–25 before Chelsea sent him to Ligue 1. A Leicester academy product and Premier League winner in 2015–16, Chilwell has 21 England caps and reached the Euro 2020 final. At 29, he gives Palace defensive cover with genuine top-flight pedigree.
