Carlos “Charly” Alcaraz is an Argentine attacking midfielder who plays for Premier League club Everton. He came through the academy of Racing Club in Argentina, making his professional debut in 2020 and later scoring the extra-time winner in the 2022 Trofeo de Campeones final against Boca Juniors. In January 2023 he moved to England with Southampton in a deal worth around £12 million, before a loan spell at Juventus and a club-record move to Flamengo in Brazil.
