Nørgaard made the move to England to sign with Brentford in May 28, 2019, completing a contract for four years with an option of an extra year for a fee that has not been disclosed.

The move brought him back together with Thomas Frank, his youth coach from his time spent at Brndby and Denmark.

He made 45 appearances throughout the 2019–20 season, which came to an end with a loss in the 2020 Championship play-off final.
