Chris Mepham joined AFC Bournemouth in January 2019 from Brentford and, since then, has solidified himself as a very popular player on the team.

He made thirteen starts in the Premier League in 2018–19 after making his league debut as a substitute in the Cherries’ 4-0 victory over Chelsea at Vitality Stadium.

On the first day of the 2019–2020 season, Mepham netted the first goal of his Premier League career in a 1-1 match with Sheffield United.

He took part in 14 games in all competitions in 2019-2020 before finding out in January 2020 that he had hurt his knee ligaments in the FA Cup third-round win over Luton.
