Daniel Johnson Burn, famously known as Ban Burn grew up watching Alan Shearer and following Newcastle United.
Before being released by Newcastle United at the age of 11, he played youth football for local clubs New Hartley, Blyth Town and Blyth Spartans.
He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Newcastle on 31 January 2022. He scored his first Premier League goal for Newcastle, scoring the second goal in Newcastle’s 4–1 victory over Brighton, on 18 May 2023.
