About
Josh Eccles is an English midfielder who plays for Championship club Coventry City, the team he has been with since childhood. A product of the Sky Blues academy, he joined Coventry as a seven-year-old and worked his way through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in July 2018, making his senior debut later that year. To build up first-team experience he spent part of the 2020-21 campaign on a season-long loan at Gillingham, before being recalled in January 2021 to feature for his parent club.
