Miguel Angel Brau is a Spanish defender who plays as a left-back for Coventry City. Born in Cartagena on 27 December 2001, he came up through the youth ranks at Granada CF, progressing from the B team into the first squad. He made his La Liga debut for Granada on the final day of the 2023-24 season against Girona, and the following campaign he featured 28 times as the club narrowly missed out on the Segunda Division promotion play-offs. In June 2025 Brau moved abroad for the first time, signing for Championship side Coventry City on a free transfer when his Granada contract expired. Football runs in the family: his father, also named Miguel Angel, played as a centre-back for Albacete and Atletico Madrid B. An attack-minded full-back comfortable overlapping down the left flank, Brau is contracted to Coventry until June 2029.
