Rodrigo Rêgo is a Portuguese right winger who joined Brighton & Hove Albion from Benfica on 1 July 2026 for a fee reported at £3m. A product of the Benfica academy, Rêgo was signed as part of Brighton’s long-standing strategy of acquiring high-potential young players from top European talent pipelines. Shortly after his arrival, on 18 July 2026, he was loaned to Spanish side Castellón for the 2026-27 season to gain regular senior minutes, and he remains a Brighton player under contract.
