Samuel Bastien is a Congolese-Belgian midfielder, currently a free agent. Born in Meux, Belgium, to Congolese parents, he came through Anderlecht’s youth academy and made his senior debut in the Belgian Cup in December 2014, replacing future star Youri Tielemans. A move to Italy followed in 2016, when Chievo Verona paid Anderlecht around €2.5 million for his signature.
