Takehiro Tomiyasu is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League club Arsenal and the Japan national team. He was born in Fukuoka, Japan.

He’s a versatile defender who can also play as a center-back or defensive midfielder. He began his career with Avispa Fukuoka in his home country before moving to Europe in January 2018. He joined Arsenal from Serie A club Bologna in the summer of 2021.
