Alphonso Boyle Davies is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back or winger for the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Canada national team. He was born to Liberian parents in Buduburam, a refugee camp in Ghana, and grew up in Canada.

Davies began his professional career at Vancouver Whitecaps and joined FC Bayern at the beginning of 2019. He won the treble with the men from Munich in 2020.

Davies was originally only eligible to play for the Liberian national team. In June 2017, he passed his Canadian citizenship test and officially became a citizen of Canada. Later that month, he became the youngest player to appear for the Canada national team. He has also represented Canada at the under-17 and under-20 levels.
