Minjae Kim (or Kim Min-jae) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender (centre-back) for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the South Korea national team. He was born in Tongyeong, South Korea.

Minjae joined FC Bayern from Napoli in the summer of 2023. He won the Serie A title with Napoli in 2022/23. He has previously played for Fenerbahce, Beijing Guoan, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

Additionally, Minjae was named Defender of the Season in Serie A in 2022/23. His tough-tackling nature has earned him the nickname “Monster.”

At international level, Minjae has represented South Korea at various youth levels, including at under-20 and under-23 levels. He made his debut for the South Korea national senior team in 2017.
