Antonio Rüdiger was a defender at Chelsea. He now plays as a centre-back for La Liga club Real Madrid and the Germany national team. 

He joined Chelsea in 2017 for an estimated £27 million and won the FA Cup in his first season, the UEFA Europa League in his second season, and the UEFA Champions League in 2021.

However, he started his career at VfB Stuttgart, where he played for the reserve team in the 3. Liga and the primary group in the Bundesliga. He joined Roma in 2015, first on loan and then for a fee of €9 million a year later. Rüdiger signed a contract with Real Madrid in 2022 as a free agent.
