Remi Matthews is an English goalkeeper who plays for Crystal Palace. Born in Gorleston in February 1994, he came through the Norwich City academy before building his reputation across the lower leagues and Scotland. He made his senior breakthrough on loan at Burton Albion, then enjoyed spells with Doncaster Rovers, Hamilton Academical and Plymouth Argyle before signing permanently for Bolton Wanderers in January 2019, where he featured around 58 times. After a season at Sunderland, Matthews joined Crystal Palace in July 2021 and spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at St Johnstone, keeping six clean sheets in 35 appearances.
